These oven dishes are large enough to serve three or four people, depending on appetite! As the name suggests, they are oven proof and hold the heat well to keep food hot when serving. They are hand thrown in red earthenware clay with a textured slab base. The white slip is poured over the clay to enhance the texture, in a thin enough layer to let the clay colour glow through. The outside of the dish and the rim are glazed with a rich green copper glaze.
